“ I recently visited Joy Coffee Shop and had a wonderful experience! The staff, Gjeison and Iza, were incredibly friendly, which made my time there even more enjoyable. I tried the cheesy chicken wrap, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try! The coffee quality was impressive; I learned that they use Italian beans, and you can really taste the difference. Overall, a lovely spot for both great food and excellent coffee! ”

“ Joy is such a lovely place. Nice vibe, great food, friendly people. I love coming in for breakfast. So many vegetarian options to chose from, its fantastic. Juices and smoothies are really good and I love the Acai bowls. The interior is quite funky and there is a cute little outdoor space in the back. You can still get takeaway at the moment and order online as well. While not exactly the same as being there and eating in (which has always been one of my weekend highlights), it is still nice to get a coffee or juice here and there and support the business in general. ”

“ Amazing place for brunch, with a very friendly staff. They have plenty of vegan options both for drinks and meals. We went there on a Sunday morning for a brunch and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very welcoming, the food was really good and the price was really on point. We were four and it was a bit tight to fit, but we managed and it still was a pleasure. We had two plant based smoothies that were delicious! We also had the avocados on toast and the very veggie, both really solid choice. I would simply recommend the staff to ask if they should put chilli seeds on the avocado before serving because I found it a bit too spicy for my taste (I have 0 spice resistance). All in all a very solid choice for a brunch! ”

“ This is the kind of place that instantly feels like a local favourite — cozy, stylish, and full of character. The coffee is excellent (the oat milk flat white was smooth and creamy), and the pastries are genuinely delicious. But what really made the visit special was the service. Gjeison was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment I walked in. He took the time to explain the different coffee options, made some great recommendations, and created such a relaxed and friendly vibe. You can tell he really cares about the customer experience, and I very much needed it after camping up for the afternoon waiting for a locksmith. It’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway or settling in with your laptop for a couple of hours. I’ll definitely be back — and big thanks again to Gjeison for the warm hospitality! ”

“ I CAN'T FAULT JOY'S It has a very relaxing easy going ambience, it's spotlessly clean, and the seating areas are generously spread out with cheerful background music... The staff are ALL very kind friendly and accommodating, paying great attention to detail, and nothing is to much trouble, weather you have a meal, or just a simple coffee and cake, you get the same standard of service. The food and drinks are made to order, and are always very enjoyable, with competative prices. It is just soooooo nice to go to an independant cafe and see it gradually become successful. Long may it continue !!! ”
